Rent 4-Month Before With No Information About Our Security Deposit

We're a little chapel in Tampa, FL that hired an area from another chapel and our scenario is the fact that we've move-out of the chapel services where we were hiring and its own being four-month and also the pastor from that area doesn't wish to provide us our safety deposit. They extended laying to us saying we shall have it however for the final four-month they've produced several reasons. Soon after we quit the chapel amenities I waited two-month and not obtained any conversation from their store with regard of our cash and today they simply don't wish to repay. It's going for a large amount of my working-time to create emails, characters, texts, etc... So what can I actually do?

If the deposit is 5000 or less you can use small claims court without a lawyer and only small fees.
