Anywhere from nothing to jail.
Depends on the type of court, type of case, who's been subpoenaed and why, etc.
Details matter.

It's an employer related matter DISCRIMINATION/ HARASSMENT witness has firsthand knowledge to events that occured on job.

Then the witness could be held in contempt of court for not responding to the subpoena.
Beyond that, it would be up to the judge as to any penalties.
