Should I just lose contact with my family member forever.?

my uncle started a side business of parking lot striping.. he said he wanted me to help him. he bought the machine and books on the subject. I read his books and even bought painters cloths. i even helped him get the cones and some tools, went to downtown to get a business tax ID number and license for him. then I didn't hear from him for a year. he started without me. then took me to the places he had finished. then tells me he had his brother in law help him. then he calls me for some help. telling me he was using his brother in law,then nephew in law and then friend as help. but they couldn't handle it and he has jobs lined up. i ended up 4th in line I could use the extra money but don't really need it to survive. i told him family and money don't mix( i was kinda mad) but because he has a day job, he needs the extra help to finish painting faster. anyone else think my uncle sounds like a 2 face? should I help him or let him hire someone else and stay away from him? he has left me in some tight situations in the past. some guys at a bar wanted to fight me for no reason and he told me, "your by yourself, i'm not going to help you." once i was in a car wreck in the rain down the street from his older brother's house and he left me there. he didn't call an ambulance or anything and the other car just kept driving. he's young and more like my big brother but I'm starting to think he's a selfish jerk. anyone else think I should just stop answering his calls and tell him to F-off

Yep. Lose contact. That kinda ppl, would piss me off just hearing their voice. I had someone in family like that but not anymore.
