Should we demand that all imports be made on par with our labor and environmental laws?

I rarely agree with you, but I do think you're on to something here.

However, what if some of the European countries, whose social benefits are much better than ours, pull the same stunt with the crap we send to them?

Granted, we don't export much any more, but before we start claiming the high road, we better make sure we're on it.

No, you boycott their goods if you want and mind your business about what everyone else consumes. If you want the US to be competitive then convince the AFL-CIO to take reasonable wages.

I bet you have tons of Chinese stuff in your house.
