Since Native Americans discovered America For thousands of years, the only inhabitants of our continent were?

Since Native Americans discovered America For thousands of years, the only inhabitants of our continent were various tribes of Native Americans, what if we hold elections allowing Native America to select 20 candidates from various tribes and we let them appointed Native Americans to decide if they want immigration reform or not immigration reform and Native Americans were here first , why not let them make our immigration laws as they are indeed the true owners of this land ?

Well, first off Native Americans didn't "Discover" America. They were simply "here." Technical point.

That aside, the Dinosaurs and cavemen were here before them - why don't we put Neanderthal Man on the next ballot right next to the Sabre Tooth Tiger?

The country is now over 200 years old. It's built on people who's ancestors were Native Americans and Slaves...and Slave Holders.. and Irish Immigrants, and Mexican Immigrants (some legal, some not).. and Canadians and Japanese and Cuban Refugees and on and on and on...

The point is, you're here. How you got here is (sorry to say) irrelevant. Too many people spend too much time living in the past with a "you OWE me" attitude. You know what? You're not an African-American or a Native-American or a Chinese-American or a Mexican-American or whatever.

If you're here, you're an AMERICAN. Get with the program, quite whining - or get the (*&^ out.

America's not a bad country for being stolen, look at how we screwed up by them letting us be here. There is no way we want them to allow all the border jumpers or dune coons to be allowed in this country. It's bad enough with the British.

Native Americans didn't have a "country." They have their own separate nations, based on their tribe. There are so many of them. They can't make our immigration laws.

For a start they are not the true owners of this land. Europeans created America.

Wrong, it's actually been proven that caucasians were here before the so called 'native americans' now.

By the way, I'm guessing you're a mestizo mexican with an axe to grind. You beans are NOT the same as the american indians.
