So, a lot of you want government run health care? As in Medicare for all!?

I saw this the other day, medicare for all. Example of 83 yr old on medicare. Deducted throughout working years b/4 age 65. $1200.00 a year after 65 with $100 deductible. Supplement necessary, costing approx $1500.00 yr. What Americans need (to start with) is a reform in medical malpractice so hospitals & doctors don't have to charge the fees they do. We, Americans, have become a nation of greed. Politicians don't care what it cost for health insurance all they want is the power.

NASA, Social Security, our well-trained armed forces, Medicare, TVA are a drop in the bucket among successful government-run programs. The best answerer is too inexperienced.

Personally I would love a government run health care system. (I have lived in the UK and know first hand how wonderful the system actually works, not the dribble fed to Americans by politicians and insurance companies)
I would not like a model like Medicare however.

Greed and Power is all it is, and this Administration is the worse I have seen in many years. Total power over the people, same thing Hitler did. Same thing Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and the other idols of Obama has done, and Obama is working to do the same as his commie friend dictators has done and is still doing.

You're really stupid. Instead of listening to what everyone else says, go into a few history books, brush up on health care and industries without the bias - just the facts - and make your own educated decision. Asking us won't change your mind because you are only going to listen to the people who you already agree with anyway. If you really want the answer, learn from resources who are not partial to either side of this debate right now.

we hav the NHS in the uk whihc is failin due to a lack of funds supplied by the government, plus dentists and doctors do work on patients not needed just to get the extra cash. only sm thought, but this si pulling it apart. its best to keep the government away, as they cant pay for operations but can to let an immigrant live here and claim benefits etc even though never put anything towards the country.

I don't want it. I live in Canada where we don't have government run health care. The government just pays the bill, which is awesome.

A plan more like Medicaid would be much better then Medicare.
But that's not going to happen.
