Speeding ticket says to "plead guilty by notifying the Magisterial District judge."Do I need to send a letter?

I got a speeding ticket in a town I don't live in. I was pulled over by the state police.

I want to plead guilty and pay my fine by mail. However, the ticket says to " plead guilty by notifying the proper Magisterial District Judge in writing..." as well as sign my ticket with a guilty plea, and send in the money.

I have never heard of anyone having to send a letter pleading guilty to a speeding ticket. Is it enough to just send my payment and sign the guilty plea line on the ticket?

Also, do I need to mail the ticket along with the guilty plea and payment?
