Okay I got this letter in the mail about some lawsuit (Spinelli Class Action Lawsuit Settlement). I'm currently paying on one account but now there's this thing about the payment protection but I can't really remember too much being so long but I do remember something about it. I was making payments but due to the on set of HIV I can't remember alot of details. Has anyone got a notice in mail like this please leave something.

I got the same letter today. I signed up for the Payment Protection cause the person I was talking to was so insistent that I get it. So to get them off my back I got it.. Well a year later I was laid off from my job. And I tried to activate it. Yeah. I had to call some other company about it, not Capital One.

I just got a letter in the mail and was looking for answers myself. I never remember signing up for the protection thing.

i was unemployed when i made the call to capital one and they still accepted my info i also enrolled into the P.P. when they offered it to me. i had got 2 cards from them when they got maxed out i was still under their plan they told me that it would auto work because i was on unemployment. it never did i then got calls from their lapdogs of debt collectors Ruben and Hoffmen. i can't get help from debt relief because my debt is to low i can't pay them because i don't have a job even when i had a job i couldn't pay because they wanted one lump sum of it. i can't open a bank account because they break the law and take all of my money. capital one are crooks not a loans and card company but crooks. they look for people who have lots of money, people who are poor, people who need money in times of need, and when the people use what they need they turn around and take your future there are others out there who need to know that capital one will stab them in that back with their saying of "whats in your wallet ?"
so it's time for us to make are stand and tell their debt collectors that we will not take this no more we will not be exploited and robbed that we will take back our freedom, our power, and our future. so lets make our voices heard and take down these evil crooks. lets take Mr. Spinelli's help and move in to the right direction.
