Arizona does not have a law that covers breaks or rest periods.
The FLSA does not address it except to say if they are given and they are less than 30 minutes they must be paid. A shift pay rate differential is paid by most companies for swing and night shift, but is not required by law.
OSHA says that rest room breaks must be given when needed and in a reasonable manner for health reasons.
OSHA also says rest breaks must be given if the shift is longer than the normal shift for safety reasons.
