So I'm from India and I study in an International University. I am this okay looking guy who's doing one of so many courses available here. I'm a film and journalism student. The internet in my college is pretty fast so every evening I end up working late in college from time to time. Recently I was working late in the corridors of the 5th floor and suddenly the lift opened. What came outside was sparkly Angel from heaven! She walked right up to me an in the most sexiest Persian accent asked where the audition was. Now I did not know what the hell was she talking about! So after a series of really cute gestures to communicate along with a whole lotta broken English I figured that she was auditioning for this big time Indian movie director's new movie.

She had by mistake come to the wrong campus. Mine was the Undergraduate media campus whereas she was supposed to go to the Postgrad one which is literally 20 kilometres away! She had an hour so I helped her out (thank you Google maps). I even helped her in getting a taxi! So she left as quickly as she had come.

But get this..... she had left her purse behind! AND there was a buttload of money in there. I tried to look for any clues or address but all her IDs were in Farsi! She had however opened her mail on my laptop to show me what she was here for lol. I switched to history and I discovered her eMail, name and college. She was from the Law campus an her name was Nazanin (which means "Sweetheart" in Persian!) Completely smitten by the girl I shot her few mails telling her that I had her purse and to pick it up from my place.

Now Persian gals are mostly non-conformists. They aren't all that tough on religion like most other middle eastern girls. Many don't wear the veil and are very open to people. I was loathing the fact that I had been such a geek in not asking about her and felt terrible because I also felt that I kinda stalked her within minutes of her departure.

So when I was done I packed up everything including her purse and took the stairs down. AND THERE SHE WAS crying her eyes out! She had come back to find her purse. I told her that I have it and she was happy like anything. She said she was worried because there was her housing rent in it among other expenses.

AND THEN she asked me out for dinner! And I LIKE AN IDIOT took her runny nose and smudged eye make-up into subconscious consideration and smiled and said, "maybe some other time."

MAYBE SOME OTHER TIME! What the hell was I thinking! Anyway soon she added me on Facebook and I discovered that..... well she was married! In any case she was a 9.5 and I am a 7 or 8. So there was never really a chance.

Now I know I am being very Ted Mosby..ish here but this is not my first experience with Iranian girls! They are very liberal and all but are rarely available! Why is this so?

Those who are Islamic need prayers, for example, the holy rosary, so they can know Catholicism is the True Faith. The rosary is God's preferred means for converting people.

Most Iranian girls I know are very family oriented and they wouldn't have anything to do with guys unless their families approve of them.

I know several Baha'is from Iran. The girls are often quite beautiful. But they won't date unless their parents approve.

Dude, that's like saying there are hot girls in America who are Christian, but they're all so unavailable! Why not hang out in Iran for 3 months to a year, and find one who IS available to date you?

I would comment on e0 who would turn this into an ad for catholicism. The hindus were practicing Mantra(recitation) Yoga way before westerners stole the idea of a crucified savior from the Wittoba myth. Jesus is a greek name. Joshua or Yeshua the son of the carpenter was never called Jesus until the Aramaic and Hebrew were translated into greek. A mantra helps quiet the mind so one can be a clearer channel for the divine spirit. Most religions are culterally ethnocentric rather than complete truth. How do you know for sure that Jesus and Krishna are not one and the same?
