Jimmy Tango(Stallone) and Gabriel Money(Russell) are two highly-successful Los-Angeles-based drugs police, who function in various precincts and can't stand one another due to their greatly different designs. Dance is just a sleek, structured entrepreneur who uses the day using the Wall Street Journal, while Money is just a careless bachelor within the custom of Martin Riggs. Involving the two of these, they've taken huge amount of money of drugs and guns that fit in with crimelord Yves Perret(Palance).
The film begins with Ray Dance in his Cadillac Allante, driving along a desert road, seeking a tractor-trailer. While Dance attempts to move the vehicle, the vehicle blocks the move.
