Hi Javed,

I want to know can I sue the electric board for poor service and line maintainence? (particulary in consumer court)

Dear Vinod,

The Electricity Board are answerable to the consumer grievances, if you have already complaint to the Board then you present your grievance to the District Consumer Forum in accordance to the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 as amended. Consult a lawyer before you file the complaint, he may advise you appropriately in the matter and the time in which you may take to succeed in the case.
