The Texas Ranger Division, commonly called the Texas Rangers, is a law enforcement agency with statewide jurisdiction based in Austin, the capital of Texas, in the United States. I want to first see if teachers and students would be interested in what the center has to offer. Would you like to use any specific resources? I would be interested in the History and Education Center(I'm a teacher in the Austin area); however, I have a question. Would it replace the Texas Ranger museum that already exists in Waco?As a teacher, I would like for the Center to have an internet presence. By that I mean, I would like a website that might have lesson ideas and resources for me to use BEFORE I take my classes to the Center. This could include lessons to introduce the Rangers as a whole, specific rangers, and Texas history. It could also have activities that students could do while at the center. So that I have my class prepared.
