The Brand New "actual Identification"... Congress Moves A Law That People Did Not Reach Vote On... What's Your Undertake The Brand New Necessity?

Appears like your day of reckoning is right here now... We're not likely to be a single nation under God. However now one country below Congress... The brand new "ACTUAL ID" is 17 states lacking the whole nationis contract... There does not be seemingly any chat or items for the claims to get financing to generally meet this current addition...i realize a handful of of the concerns of identity theft, illegal immigration and terrorism. Even so i neglect to observe how this national/federal modification is likely to function as the "catch-all of quot & remedies for what is an ongoing problem... at a single-point they certainly had been contemplating microchips for these driver's licenses... Thank heavens that is not implicated nonetheless... May possibly our little ones in elementary, junior high and higher college be susceptible to this? has this actually been considered? You will uncover probably to be considered a lot of limitations... but who'll function as the hardest hit?... Would not it not have been far more straightforward to have a pilot program very first?... how may this effect immigration regulations?...what is your take?

The New "real Id"... Congress Passes A Law That We Didn't Get To Vote On... What's Your Take On The New Requirement?

Postby koltin » Thu Jan 30, 2014 4:10 am

Big Brother has got your number now!!! As far as I know, congress knew nothing about this new I.D.  It was not debated, voted on, or passed.  This is purely aside from democratic policies. This is from the new Arm of the Law, none other than HOMELAND SECURITY.    I do believe you will begin to understand that many of the freedoms we have enjoyed in past generations, has now been infiltrated with the need to PROTECT US.  And who better to do that than the Brown shirts. gonefishing 72 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. The New "real Id"... Congress Passes A Law That We Didn't Get To Vote On... What's Your Take On The New Requirement?

You don't get to vote on laws, you vote for congressmen/women First of all, if they allowed everyone to vote on every law, there would be no need for congress. As for the new ID laws, these are needed to streamline the identification process. Currently it is very easy to obtain real identification that is completely valid using stolen or forged documents, or in some cases with no documents at all. For instance in many jurisdictions all you need to do to get a drivers license is show a piece of mail from an address and say you lost your wallet with all your ID in it. The person will take the piece of mail, and ask you a few questions such as date of birth etc and issue you a drivers license in that name and address. You will then have a completely valid drivers license which you can take to other government agencies and use to obtain other identification etc, as well as to obtain loans and mortgages, credit cards etc.The police in one state generally have no idea how to what the requirements are to get a license in another state, and take the identification card at face value without question. In order for them to have this confidence, they need to know the ID is real, and that you are the person on the ID.This is just my personal opinion of course. The funding may be an issue in some areas, however it is a state responsibility to have a secure identification and licensing system, the federal government is just now getting around to holding them to that requirement, and making it a more uniform system. I think that Washington is going to find out, one day, that they've gone too far.  They keep passing laws for us to pay for and not get a vote on.  One day, we are going to turn our backs on them and tell them to "stick it".  No more laws without our approval!  They've got so many laws, we can't keep up.  There goes their 'ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law' theory.  They will continue to make and break all the laws they set up for us.  But, until we get to vote on them, they can all stay in Washington!
