its always a good idea when using an analogy to support your argument that you make sure your analogy is CORRECT. you failed miserably.

here is some info for you. the USA constitution is based in large part on the government of my nation which was set up in 909 ce. its called a democracy. and not a representative democracy either but a TRUE democracy where every person has a vote and each vote counts. we had laws against murder and it carried a harsh and swift punishment too.

I doubt any Liberal would be so ignorant to refer to Native Americans as immigrants. On the other hand, we are all the descendants of immigrants except the Native Americans.
The illegals who have been here for five or more years should be allowed to apply for citizenship. Trying to round up all of the illegals and deport them would be like trying to pluck needles out of a haystack. This way they can pay taxes and make a decent wage because they have been working here for years and we all know that. They are not invisible. The cost of finding and deporting a hundred thousand people would cost as much as a Bush war.
This is just common sense.

perhaps you are confusing their belief that it shouldn't take 5-7 yrs to become a citizen when pursuing a legal path.

or perhaps you confuse their belief that a person shouldn't automatically be judged as illegal by the color of their skin. ie: Arizona bill

or perhaps you confuse their belief that a person SHOULD have the right to pursue citizenship when they were brought here as children through time served in the military or through attending a college with absolutly NO financial aid given to them, . ie: the dream act...
