Today is my mom and step dad's wedding day...he's been missing since yesterday morning. Help?

He was so excited to get married. Yesterday morning around 8am, he was going to go get his car fixed...the guy who was fixing his car said he never showed up. I have been searching high and low for him. I have never seen my mom fall apart. I've filed a missing persons report with the local police, but I have lost my faith in law enforcement after being raped twice and sexually assaulted three times...they never did anything. I've called every hospital and jail around and there's no one there with his name. I've looked through John Doe databases and morgues in the area...nothing. His clothes are still at his house. Yesterday we'd call his cell phone and it went straight to voice mail. Now, when we call, it rings five or so times and goes to voicemail...which means his phone was off but now it's on. I can't help but think someone robbed him. He's been robbed before. I also think the probability of a case of cold feet is approximately 10% or less seeing as how he changed his address and was in the final stages of moving in. I can't help but think the worst. I don't know who else to call and where else to look. I am praying and praying and leaving it up to God, but I can't just leave it to the cops when they are lazy and tend to let stuff go. I'm at wits end. I'm only 21 and I can't just break into his house.....can I? I'm thinking about doing that...I'm soo stressed out and emotionally breaking down. He was the first person in my life I can call dad. Me and my twins biological father died when we were babies. We were going to be a complete family today and I'm totally lost now. Can someone help me please?

talked too his parents, his friends? go over too his house, dont your mom have a key if they are this closely, if not knock on the door, look in the windows

does his car have a tracking device in it? have someone with a number he wouldnt know try too call, like lend a friends number or something which he dont even know the name off, if he is doing a runner he may not answer phones from people he know, in which case this is a way too test it, better safe then sorry

talk too his neighbours hear when they seen him last, did anyone observe him come home yesteday
