I wrote to the publisher and he managed the ad stating nobody wants to permit non-christians on the personal places. And so I wrote to Am. Civil Liberties Union and they sent him a letter telling him that it had been against National and state regulation. Until it is a personal residence, you-can't exclude by race, religon, sex, gender.

BTW, the only 'ethical' way(if there be such) to keep out certain people or groups -- is merely make the environment not much appealing to them. For instance, if you want a "Christians Only" apartment building like Max came upon the ad for, all you have to do is create a Christian environment -- such as putting a Christian book store and Christian inspirational posters and artwork around.If you want to keep ME out, put up a bunch of hunting and fishing paraphenallia. Play football and basketball games so loudly that I can't even hear myself think, and I won't come around.No need to exclude anyone -- just cater your business or property to the tastes and needs of people whom you DO want to associate. And if someone of the "wrong group" comes around anyway, hey, then that only proves you're a kindred spirit in spite of different backgrounds.   Yellowdog 33 months ago

This man is obviously not playing with a full deck(e.g. he seems very low class, bad hygiene, marginally mentally challenged). Why would he call this little dump of a business a "Gentleman's Club"? At best it is pretentious, at worst it sounds like a sex club, though I'm sure he means it to sound high class.He won't get away with it. But still.More of a novelty to me that people are "that stupid" is, rather, how people who are that stupid can even establish a business or get capitol to(admittedly, his store looks like a little dump, but it's a business nonetheless).   Yellowdog 33 months ago
