Traffic Ticket - Failure to yield to Adult traffic guard?

About a week ago I received a ticket in the mail claiming I failed to yield to a traffic guard in a school zone. To be completely honest, I have no recollection of this, but for some reason the a traffic guard wrote my plates down and called it in. The ticket was for $88 and 0 points off my license. I have a court date scheduled and would like to dispute the charge because I was was not involved in this. Is there any way of getting out of this ticket? Seeing you have no recollection, you can not dispute the traffic guard's testimony. In fact, saying that may imply you were not paying attention and damage your defense.

Your only chance at a defense would be to prove it wasn't you, and the traffic guard got the wrong plate.

you can always go to court to fight the ticket, plea not guilty and 1 hope the traffic guard don't show , or that the judge believes you.

The best way to dispute the the ticket is to have a decent alibi. If you were at work, bring some people who saw you at work to prove you were not at the scene. If you were in the car however, your case would be much harder to prove, being that there would be very little that could prove your physical location at the reported time.
