Traveling with my family to a USA hotel, how much rooms do I need?

Postby caomh » Sat Mar 10, 2012 6:31 am

I am travelling with my wife and 2 twin kids (4 years old, a boy and a girl) next summer to Florida, USA.
I have heard that as per law, a brother and a sister are not allowed to share the same room in an apartment.
Does the same thing applies for hotels? Do i have to rent two rooms? or one room is enough without any legal troubles?
Thanks a lot

There is no such law as you describe.

1 room is fine as long as there are 2 beds big enough to support 4 people.

Of course you, your wife and the twins can legally stay in the same room.

We have no laws that state a brother and sister cannot share a room. It is allowed. One room is fine, just get one that has two queen sized beds. You and your wife can share one bed and your children can sleep in the other bed.

You "heard" wrong. You can stay in the same hotel room. If you want more privacy - and a kitchen, which can save you money - you might want to look into renting a condo.

Wow, where in the heck did you hear something like that? That is just silly. Of course siblings can share a room. You will be fine with one hotel room. If you are heading to Orlando check out www.allears.net. For help

Rent a double room. They are four, for crying out loud.
