Under current bankruptcy law, are retirement accounts dischargeable?

Postby bercnan72 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 1:46 pm

I am going through a divorce and working on a settlement agreement which must be payed over a period of a few years. If bankruptcy is filed by my spouse in the interim, I will have to turn our settlement into a judgment and go after it that way BUT what can I secure now..meaning what is NOT dischargeable in court (retirement accounts, personal assets, businesses accounts, mortgages, etc.)
