I'm heading to new York City the end of November and am trying to find out what is playing in NYC during this period. Ticketmaster is displaying little. There must be a huge amount on. Does anyone know a good website for showing what is coming up? many thanks

There is this music discovery service called last.fm(http://www.last.fm). You don't even have to sign up, just go to "Events" and put down "New York" in the "where" search field. It then displays all the upcoming events. You can even specify if you just want events displayed that take place within the city limits or within a wider radius(a drop down menu appears under the "where search field" once you've put something down). In my experience it's the most thorough list you can possibly find. Every event has its own page and often enough people have already added additional information to it. It's just great.Hope I could help.
