What are my consumer rights regarding an extended warranty on an iPod?

Postby ealahweemah72 » Tue Apr 03, 2012 5:36 am

bought a 32gb iPod touch about a year ago, and extended the warranty to 3 years for €75. When buying the warranty I was told if the iPod was stolen or broke in the 3 years I just had to come back in and they'd replace it. The iPod broke and now the shop is saying they wont replace the item because it cost more than €200, even though they sold me the warranty knowing the product cost more than €200. Anything over €200 they'll only repair. My problem is I was never told any of this when buying the warranty, and they never gave me a copy of the warranty or anything. Does anybody know if I'm entitled to a replacement?
