What are the labor laws for California?

I work as a house keeper in Hotel. They have not paid me my over time. They Expect me to clean 23 rooms in 8 hrs. With no breaks and I ask for a new work shirt my manager said no. And I'm I allowd to change my availability I've been there for 9mos.

You can request to change your availability, but your employer can refuse.

California invented the "at will employment" laws, so you can be fired for any or no reason (as long is not illegal like sex or racial discrimination.)

You are better quitting.

23 rooms in 8 hrs is crazy, you would have to do each room in less than 20 minutes.
