What difference does it make what kinds of fireworks we allow people to play with on 4th of July? Why do we limit the size of firecrackers? Why not let people shoot off dynamite? A law-abiding person would be careful with it!

What difference does it make what drugs we allow people to use? I mean what right do we have to say you can use aspirin and benadryl but not heroin or opium? Law abiding, sane people will be careful with dangerous drugs!

And, something I've never understood--banks have plenty of money, so why do we require people to make deposits before they make withdrawals? A law-abiding, sane person would put in more than they take out, wouldn't they?

Why do we force architects to put railings around balconies?

Why do we insist drivers of cars wear seat belts? Or have a license? A law-abiding, sane person would drive carefully, wouldn't he?

I tell ya, government isn't good for anything! It just gets in the way!

It sure does make a difference. Why should a regular citizen have such powerful assault weapons with 100 magazine rounds. These guns should only be in the possession of our Police or Military. With these types of guns a deranged person or criminal can kill far more people faster. There should be gun control laws. It is only common sense. It could save your life or the life on one of your loved ones.
