What happens when you get a second speeding ticket?

Postby ammi » Sun Apr 08, 2012 11:46 pm

I'm seventeen years old and just got my second speeding ticket today? I'm wondering if the state will suspend my license or make me go to court?

They make you listen to Friday by Rebecca Black as punishment.

Good luck, it's tough.

Two tickets won't get your license suspended. It might make your insurance rates go up. You should be more careful! (But I bet everyone tells you that.)

You will go to court, that is a given. The judge will not be as lenient as he was the first time. In all probability, you will get points on your license and have to pay up to double the previous fine. Good luck, and take your foot out of the fuel injectors.

17 and 2 tickets?

Get a bus schedule your license will most likely be suspended until you are 18

The mortician in your town will not be happy however, he was counting on you to bring him some business with your reckless driving practices

In most states, you will need a total of 10 points out before your license is suspended. Many courts allow you a guilty plea to save you points but that has a price...a heavier fine . When you get points out of your license, you can also schedule driving courses to have some points returned. They will tell you in court where to go...! An for now...just slow down or by the time you get to 18Th, you'll have no license or insurance at all...! Good luck...!
