I evicted my tenant here in MN in Nov.2011. We emailed her in writing that she had 28 days to reclaim the property . Its now July (August tomorrow) and she STILL pops up demanding her stuff back. OK MN law does say she had 28 days but its kind of a 'cloudy' law cuz it also says that if its abandoned? As long as shes righting me letters wanting it back , can it still be considered abandoned after so many months of her not coming to get it?

When did she ORIGINALLY begin requesting her stuff?

Although she kept canceling she may be able to make a claim still. If she had made no claim at all until now the abandonment issue could be raised. However, scheduling issues not withstanding, she has pursued reclaiming her belongings from the start and may possibly succeed if she presses the issue.
