What Is A Safe And Legal Source Of Free Mp3 Music Files?

iTunes - promotional hits & videos are available for free. Most hits are available for $0.99 USD or less.iTunes is easier to use compared to Rhapsody.Available for both Microsoft Windows & Apple Macintosh:http://WWW.Apple.Com/iTunes/iTunes is the largest legal & safe site. There are other sites like MySpace, YouTube, ...which may have a lot of stuff for "free"but they are more difficult & not everything there is legal. An alternative is using software to transfer your favorite CDs to MP3s.http://WWW.Nero.Com/http://WWW.Roxio.Com/

What Is A Safe And Legal Source Of Free Mp3 Music Files?

If you want free and legal, archive.org has a lot of high quality public domain music. However most of it is not mainstream radio hits. Emusic.com is not free, but the price is pretty reasonable, it's legal, and it's DRM free. Here's an article about Emusic from USA Today: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/products/services/2006-07-30-emusic_x.htm

What Is A Safe And Legal Source Of Free Mp3 Music Files?

No such thing Music is not free.  Never has been.  Any site that's offering you the ability to download songs "for free" is illegal.  Period.   If you want MP3s, one(mildly convoluted) way of getting them is to pay Wal*Mart or iTunes or whatever to download in their proprietary format, then burn them to a CD and re-rip the CD as MP3s. This site is genuine for legal free electronic music mp3s and they are all high quality(192kb or 256kb). Very simple to use and you can basically just download the tracks:http://www.alexalcyone.com/free-downloadable-music.html   Lexxx 24 months ago http://www.alexalcyone.com/free-downloadable-music.html

What Is A Safe And Legal Source Of Free Mp3 Music Files?

Yahoo Music Unlimited. There are some free sharing sites, but I was never very satisfied with them, alot of the stuff is corrupted. I prefer subscription music to paying a buck per song for a license. After many trials and errors, mostly errors with Rhapsody. I have settled on Yahoo Music Unlimited. It is a subscription music site.   If you are unfamiliar, you pay a low monthly fee for access to millions of songs rather then pay for each song. For me it is perfect for my mp3 player. The best part, and I think they still have this offer...is that Yahoo will let you get 2 years for the price of one if you pay with a Master card, and pay for a whole year. I basically paid $140+ for 2 years access. You do the math, it is a phenomenal deal. Most subscription sites are around $15.00 a month and some(Rhapsody) had major licensing problems. every month you have to plug your player into your pc and re-license your music, it is easy and pain free...except Rhapsody, it was painful...I'd be happy to elaborate if you care to discuss or message. Good luck, Ask more if you like, I've had extensive experience in the area. Sources: experience moonman14 83 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
