What is my husband doing with this girl?

my hubby was friends with this girl who is his colleague as well.He has known her since she was 19.
He was very helping and very friendly with her.they always joked,sat together,talked and had a good relationship both working and as friends.
He even agreed to act as her boyfriend while they were doing a stage play and he did,which was about a one night stand they shared.
He took pictures with her as well and both of them were always around each other.
He posed really intimately with her,grabbed her by waist tightly that I could see his fingers on her waist,and he put himself really close to her,you know like his head was touching her head.
But i had noticed a few weird things last year,sudden absent mindedness,extreme happiness while he was at work etc\
All of a sudden in June last year he thrashed her verbally in public,saying how many men he knows she slept with,that shes a **** indirectly,that shes in bed with James(a co worker) while he's talking.and that meant to say that she sleeps around (he also began mentioning his me what he put me through while he overdosed drugs,showing what a perfect life he has with me,his in laws)
and throughout that time he was making rude and unkind comments about other people,including those women who played his wife(on stage play) some of his colleague etc and unnecessarily brought me into the topic.
later he had to apologize forcibly to her.she forgave him but again in august when asked about her he said hes a big fan of her publicly

I saw his pictures of that event and he looked so weird,like curbing his anger,laughing and smiling as if curbing his anger.
I have seen him staring at her in a grumpy way,or smiling/staring at her
In December as well i saw her near him though he went away from work for two weeks to go on a holiday with me and daughter!!??
Whats happening???What are they upto??? why does he care so much???
does he stay for the daughter as he has to be on road most of the time and since no woman is reliable enough to raise her,in case he divorces me(( he will take full custody as he wanted a baby girl as quickly as possible)
Additional Details
shes 25 now and he will never change his job.he loves his job.and they work together frequently.

Well I think those two are up to something , he might be sleeping with her ? I don't know , maybe she likes to fling and that's why he is so mad ? I think he may be staying for the daughter or maybe the fact they work together might be why its so secretive , some workplaces don't allow dating among colleges.

take a look in the mirror. What about you would he find attractive? What would he find attractive about hte girl? Is there really a reason to be concerned?
