It is not legal for a person in Texas to order/purchase malt beverages or distilled spirits from an individual or entity outside of Texas and have it shipped into Texas.

An adult (over 21) can purchase wine via phone/fax/mail/e-mail/internet from a winery outside of Texas that holds a TABC Out of State Winery Direct Shipper's Permit or from a retailer outside of Texas that holds an Out of State Wine Only Package Store Permit. There is an importation limit of three gallons of wine every 30 days.

If an adult visits a winery or retailer outside of Texas and purchases the wine in person, the individual can personally accompany the wine into Texas or have the wine shipped to their home using a TABC-licensed common carrier. The out-of-state winery or retailer is not required to hold a TABC permit if the transaction takes place in person outside of Texas. There is an importation limit of three gallons of wine every 30 days.
