What political party would you assume I am after reading this?

It doesn't really fit any one of those labels consistently (unless you define 'populism' as telling an audience whatever it wants to hear even if every other statement contradicts the last).

heavy democrat... overall... fairly liberal...

I particularly like your idea on patents... sounds reasonable... the idea behind patents is to protect the inventor so they can produce the product, not to let some company buy up the patents so they won't have competition...

if they aren't using them, either they are bad patents or they are holding them off the market... either way, not good...

You're a conservative communist, a left leaning rightwinger . . You're a meat eating vegetarian . . . Don't worry about the labels, vote for who you think is the best choice . . Or don't vote at all . . I know people say "if you don't vote, you don't have a voice to complain . . But I would rather not vote than to vote for the least corrupt politician . . We need a new system or an amendment to the current one . . But who keeps track anymore . . .
