What steps to take if a medical receptionist is spreading personal medical information about me?

Some lawyers offer some free advice, see if there are any in your area. Sometimes they advertise this in their ads. It seems like the receptionist does not understand that it is unprofessional to discuss clients" issues. It should have been part of her training. Check your local newspaper or on line legal ads that state 15 minutes of free advice. Call and tell them the issue, and let them give you some direction.
Your doctor is so wrong. You have every right to not have any of you medical history told to anyone if this is your wishes. I would start with an attorney a letter with your rights and they can and will be held accountable for reveling medical issues about you. If You can't afford an attorney go to your local prosecutor and he has to take your case he's paid by tax dollars to do this.
You will get what your asking for. You go my dear that is not right. The doctor should have fired here right then and there.
I hope you carry your baby and it's healthy. God bless you!
