What type of cloth to clean patent leather shoes?

Postby matyas » Wed Dec 21, 2011 11:40 pm

I bought some spray to keep them shiny and supple, but it says to buff immediately after with a soft cloth. What cloth would I use, eg.- dishcloth, microfibre cloth, cotton cloth?

a cotton cloth is best
and put it over your index finger, and buff in small circular motions

i never use the spray it makes them sticky

i use vaseline
a tiny bit on a cloth and buff it in
it will make your shoes look dull and cloudy
get another clean cloth and buff it all away, still using tiny circular motions

it will keep your shoes nice and soft and they wont crack or crease where you foot bends in them
way more so than the sprays and creams
