What type of lawyer do I need to hire to sue a company for injury?

Postby emek » Sat Mar 24, 2012 6:36 pm

I am suffering from a head injury sustained while on the job.
The company I want to sue would not be the one I work for, rather a third party.
Do I let WCB take care of this and hope they decide to sue on my behalf? Or should I be retaining a lawyer? If So, what type? Personal injury lawyers I've found online seem to only ever mention car accidents.

If you have grounds to pursue a bodily injury claim, you have to do it. Be aware that if you are successful, you have to pay back the workers' comp benefits.

Any personal injury attorney can handle your case. Look for the big ads in your Yellow Pages directory under "Attorneys."

You want a trial lawyer, an ambulance chaser type. They call themselves personal injury attorneys.
