Whats the best way to piss off a cop?

Postby croslea » Wed Aug 01, 2012 7:36 pm

I have a cop that sits 3 houses down from me, its a fat UberCunt that really gets on my nerves.
Well, she sits here bc its a good place for a speed trap catching drivers coming around a bend in the road......I live close enough to the bend that I got a sign made up notifying drivers to SLOW DOWN, NINJA COP AHEAD, SPEED TRAP........lol, cop didn't like this .
I brought out my camera recorder and started recording her when she told me I HAD to take it down, and I HAD to stop videotaping her. I told her it was on MY property, it's not offensive in any way, and was it breaking any laws by doing so? The sign wasn't a stationary sign, I was holding it, not once did I step on the roadway or anywhere close to it.
Then she told me it was illegal to video and audio record her without her permission.....I told her it's a public area, she's a public official doing a job that my tax dollars pay for.....I notified her that she was being recorded.
She's been driving by real slow past my house which is humorous, bc I followed her to HER house hom one day, she lives about 10minutes from me....and I returned the favor.
Is it illegal to create a sign with her name, badge number and house address and post it in my yard for everyone to see?
I know this type of thing seems immature but I get a laugh out of it, so do my neighbors......and I save my neighbors from getting tickets.
Any additional LEGAL ways of playing with the cops is much obliged.

This one works great with let's say 4 cops are close to you ask them if they want to hear a stupid cop joke...then say no never mind..I don't want to have to tell it 4 times!(then go ahead and turn your back and put your hands behind you!)

One would just hope a situation doesn't arise when/where you NEED their/her assistance.

1. taping such officers is illegal in some states. These laws have yet to be tested, but were passed under the guise of preventing the outing of officers who work undercover. An attempt to prevent the compilation of data bases which identified all policemen and their home addresses. A reaction to some of the requests under the freedom of information acts of various states. Check your local laws. I'd say that given that you weren't arrested yet for doing this, you're in a state which doesn't have this law..

2 As for your alleged sign waving. I say alleged, because I doubt you bothered to do this. It sounds like the usual internet posturing. The same goes for your "following her to her house." A number of courts have found such signs to be criminal acts, as it interferes with police procedures. No different than acting as a look out for other crimes. For that matter some people, in some states have been prosecuted for flashing their lights to "warn" people of speed traps. Once again, if taken to it's logical extreme, you can recognize the absurdity of allowing the public to track the location of police officers.
