When did you finally have all the stuff you needed for your baby?

Im currently 29 weeks pregnant and only have a crib!!! It has become very frusterating for me to think about because I cant help thinking what happens if the baby comes early?!?!?!
Anyways my husband is in the military, so we cannot have a baby shower due to all our family and friends living 3100 miles away from us. Although we did send out pregnancy annoucements a month ago just to announce our pregnancy, show our family our 3D ultrasound pictures and include our registry if anyone wanted to get us something. So far no one has gotten us anything, but I am continually told by my mom and sister in law that most of everyone should be getting us something it just wont be for another 2 months. Although I am greatful that they are thinking of me, I cant help but stress out knowing they said theyd send me something in 2 months when my due date is in 2 1/2 months. So my question is when should I start buying everything I need? I dont want buy everything I need and then they send me multiples of the same gifts? Any opinions?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and still don't have everything. I have almost everything and got most of it when I was 36 weeks. Just wait people will start to give you things. You still have awhile to your due date.

I got my nursery done at 20 weeks. Found all furniture on Craigslist. Will get high chair at a consignment store. And plan to buy carseat and stroller new for safety reasons like the month before I'm due. You want to get that last bc they always make the newest stuff safest.

As for clothes I have gotten a few things. Everything else I will wait for the baby shower.

If I were you I would look on Craigslist and eBay for the essential nursery stuff. Im not counting on friends and family to make larger purchases like that.

I got everything I needed when I was half way. I also had a baby shower early so it made it easier. It is always good tohave spare things, or you could sell them on ebay. Or you could just wait till baby is born and buy it that weeek. Just save up. Babies dont need much anyway. A pram, cot, towel, clothes, nappies, nail clippers, soap, moisterizer, blanket and sheets, car seat. All the rest can be bought later. They dont play with toys till 6 months, dont eat solid food till 6 months.
