When Do Tickets For Wicked Go On Sale For Seattle?

It does not appear that tickets have gone on sale yet. According to the "Broadway Across America" website, the "on sale date" is still "to be announced".  www.broadwayacrossamerica.com/BAA.Web/Pages/BAACity.aspx.  However, from that same web page, you can get season tickets to the entire "broadway across america" series.   "Wicked" runs from September 2nd to October 4th at the Paramount theatre.  Ticket prices will be $30.50 - $83.50(not including fees).  A complete list of showtimes is on the Paramount web site:  www.theparamount.com/artists.  I saw "Cats" at the Paramount many years ago -- it seemed older and a bit run down, but a decent venue nonetheless.  And they renovated it about 15 years ago, after I attended, so I suspect it is much nicer now.   There is some detailed information on the Paramount web site here about how to purchase tickets.  Looks like they are going through some transitions in their ticketing process.  www.theparamount.com/tickets.  Basically, it looks like you will be able to get tickets through several web sites, including the partner web site at stgpresents.org/artists?artist=910, and the BroadwayAcrossAmerica web site.  The show information is available there, but the links to actually buy tickets are not present yet.   That matched our experience with Wicked here in Portland.  Tickets didn't go on sale until about two or three months before the show.  So just keep your eyes on the stgpresents link above, or the broadway across america link, and keep checking back.   Note that if you absolutely must buy your tickets now, you can buy tickets that have been put up for sale by season ticket holders.  Web sites such as Jumbotickets.com have this kind of thing; you can google "Wicked Seattle" and find others.  I don't recommend this approach, as the re-sold tickets are usually much higher in price.  You will save money by waiting.  Plus, some of the resale web sites have show dates that don't match up with the official dates, as is the case with http://www.ticketloot.com.  No telling what will happen if you were to try to buy tickets for a show date that doesn't actually exist.  Personally, I'd stick with the authorized, official sites. And, for what it's worth, the show was a lot of fun!  I want to see it again . . .     Sources: http://www.wickedthemusical.com/page.php#WickedCitiesOnTour, http://www.broadwayacrossamerica.com/BAA.Web/Pages/BAACity.aspx?city=Seattle&SeriesShowId=6772&showId=807&name=Wicked, http://www.theparamount.com, personal experience   Google Map View Larger Map I saw "Cats" here many years ago.   Gundark's Recommendations Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch of the East Legs Door Stop Amazon List Price: $0.00 Average Customer Rating: 3.5 out of 5(based on 16 reviews) Wicked: 5th Anniversary Special Edition Amazon List Price: $24.98 Used from: $10.49 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5(based on 9 reviews) Gundark 65 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
