When Does A Probation Officer Over Action Their Limitations

Postby Brentin » Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:44 am

My issue requires legal legislation for that state-of: Mi
My cousin is on probation and recognizes a therapist that talks with the probation officer. She recently quit somebody who wasn't advantageous to her or her child. She's on probation for DUIis. She recently has met somebody who really makes her feel well about himself and is supporting her through the restoration procedure for drinking. Her therapist advised her that she's happy with her and her new buddy will work for her. While she visited the PO the PO asked her what his middle name was and that she desired to operate him, my sister didn't know his middle name and she hopped throughout my sister saying you do not know his middle name and you slept the night time at his home!!! Our sister also stated that my niece remained with her dad and the PO screamed again and stated, no she did not her dad is useless (shattered my sister's center) but she was speaing frankly about who my niece has named dad for 5 years and the PO understands that. Is is okay to get a PO to demean my cousin when it involves her individual lifestyle or must it you need to be concerning the situation available?

Okay. But he's not really a stranger at all it's who my cousin calls father that's all she understands because the age of 2. She can not beverage she's to hit twice each day. It'd nothing related to drinking, I guess the PO was simply in a poor feeling. Thanks for the response.

When Does A Probation Officer Over Step His Boundaries

Ok... a PO isn't a father confessor or perhaps a buddy. A PO is just a person whose task it's to ensure your sibling does not screw up and, if she does, punish for that screw up.
If you should be questioning why the PO is not being nice, it's since "nice" is not within the work information. Your sibling has been tried and the PO may be the shipping program for that punishment.
Now then, the PO posseses an absolute to know whom your sister is associating with and whom your sister decides to abandon the kid with... And YES, your cousin lied to the PO when she stated the kid was with her dad... Since that guy isn't her father.
If your sibling does not like her PO, she may request another. She better have a significantly better cause that "she does not like me, wants to understand with whom I'm associating with and wants to ensure my child is not being lifted by visitors while I venture out drinking."

The little one calls the man father. And has for 5 years.
The PO understands the little one calls the man dad.
The sibling possibly usually describes the man whilst the 'dad'.
Seems like the PO is definitely an a$$.
I would be angry at them too.
It's not lying to express the kid is by using the father when there's no genetic link. That you don't just reach be considered a dad by sleeping with somebody...
I have been having a buddy who got stopped by way of a policeman and told him it absolutely was his father's vehicle. Effectively, both of these individuals share no genes however the child was not laying towards the policeman or attempting to deceive him.

It's pretty clear that the probation officer wants 100% factual information, and thus it would make sense to proceed on that basis.
