No, there's no homosexuality exception. Many people like to point out that Jesus didn't specifically mention homosexuality, but he didn't mention incest, pedophilia, or bestiality, either. The laws covering sexual morality are enumerated in Leviticus. Moreover, Jesus' apostles Paul, Peter, and Jude all mention homosexuality explicitly, and as men who were risking their lives to relay Jesus' teachings, there is no chance that they were making stuff up. Jesus taught many things not recorded in the gospels (see John 21:25), and it is a certainty that the sin of homosexuality was covered during his three years of teaching.
To make a man unclean means to destroy a person's relationship with God. Homosexuality is a "sin unto death" (see I John 5) that left unrepented, destroys a person's chance to go to heaven (I Cor 6).
