Where can i find and get the property laws for my town?

i need to know how far can my city go in telling me what i can and can't do on my commercial property.with out them violating any property rights i may have and not know about.

Commercial property use within city would be governed under city ordinances, where there is no specified code for use then STATE code will govern. Commercial usually means that you are held to stricter standards because all public policy (codes & statutes) may be enforceable, since you are voluntarily participating in commerce.
