Which charge is worse? Blackmail or Assualt & Battery? I made a horrible mistake, what should I do?I need help?

Postby vohkinne » Tue Jul 31, 2012 3:48 pm

I've made a horrific mistake, and now I think, that I am running the risk of me ending up in prison for years, and my family being horrified for what I've done, I was a law abiding Christian, good citizen, military and family man, and Im also a former police officer, and now I've been drawn into things I'm extremely ashamed off. And I need to know what I can legally do. The man responsible for this has broken the law, but so have I.

It all started when my 19 year old daughter, started dating this guy named Thomas who is 25, he was a horrific influence and when I met him I knew it. He always smelled like beer, pot, and cigarettes. He was rude and crass. I told my daughter she could not see him and she said since she was an adult she could do whatever she wanted.

So I went to see Tom at his place, and that's when I made the most horrific mistake in my life, when he opened the door he was obviosly high and drunk and when I tried talking to him he started making very vulgar sexual remarks relating to my daughter. And then he insulted me.

I lost it. I started hitting him and hitting him and I even grabbed a his beer bottle and hit him in the face with it. He was practically out cold and I was shocked. So I left and went back home, waiting for the police to come.

You have to understand. This man had been a horrible influence on my daughter, he gave her drugs, slept with her, and gave her alcohol.

Well, the police didnt come but he did call me and told me to come to his place again, and I did. Since I was a bit scared, I brought my gun, with me.

So I got there and then the little prick blackmailed me. He said that he had security cameras in his place and that he took pictures of his wounds after I beat him, and that if I didnt give him money or do favors for him he would call the police and press charges against me. He even showed me the video tapes.

I agreed, and now I have to pay him 1000 dollars a month! and that's the least of it. But at least he did break up with my daughter.

Since this, he called me once, and he told me he was buying marijuana growing equipment and that he needed a bodyguard, and said he wanted me there with my gun. And I went, I felt so ashamed to be involed in the equivalent of a drug deal.

And it has not stopped there, he also had me accompany him when he was buying cocaine. So I was an accesory to an actual drug deal.

I dont know what to do! What I did to him which he recorded is serious assault! and Im not too sure which is worse blackmail or what I did to him, but since then I've also broken other laws because of him.

And 2 days ago, the worst happened. This lunatic, apprantly also sells pot. and he called me and wanted me to accompany him to another drug deal. and I did due to his blackmail.

Well, after the drug deal, we BOTH got arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

I felt so ashamed, I was taken to the county jail where in the past I'd taken criminals, and I even had to share a cell with this lowlife.

Well now this is it for me. I told him I was not going to take part in this any more, and he threatened to press charges on me for the assault and tell the DA about our other activities.

what should I do? The pot charge is not serious, but how can I get this guy to back off?

He is blackmailing me but I also did assault him, and what I've done with him recently my family can never know!

Please advice me.

PS- during this story I am in no way admitting to any crimes and due to this being an internet forum any stories could be false and could not be used against me.

You must go to a Criminal Attorney.

You must go NOW. They will advise you what to do. Furthermore, you must follow his advice. Chances are that all things will be taken into account, and the attorney can untangle you out of this mess. But, you must be proactive. You must go NOW and solicit the attorney first. You will be very surprised just how much they can help you.

No BS. They can untangle this.

See you Solicitor/Attorney,

However, If I was in your shoes I don't think I'd be too worried about the charges that you're in prison for. Especially if you can make a jury doubt whether or not you acted under duress (the fear of threats of violence or actual violence to you or your immediate family, so your daughter). As for your battery charges, I've personally seen people leave a magistrates court with a fine and no conviction recorded and their victims had worse injuries - they pleaded guilty, but you might be in a different jurisdiction to me,

If you were to plead Not Guilty you might be able to prove that you that you were provoked if the vulgar sexual remarks were exceptionally bad and you had no time to "let the passion cool off"

to add to your defence as well you could get letters from your ex-military leader saying that you are a genuine person (if he agrees with that) and same goes with the police force. :)

good luck with everything and hope that you get a good result

You've posted this nonsense several times. Your post is a hoax, and it has been reported.
