These aren't the synopsis of the stories, they're just quick plot explanations.
1. A young woman named Sirie, is sixteen years old and lives in a small village on the outskirts of a huge kingdom where the kings men are stationed. She wakes up one day to her little sister, five years old shaking her and screaming. They're house is in full flames and there are the kings men running around outside, burning up all the other houses.
Sirie grabs her sister and bursts out the window while her home is in huge flames. The kingsmen see them and start chasing them down laughing evilly. Sirie hurt herself getting out of the burning house and is just slowing down her sister, she lets her go and tells her to run in the forest.
Sirie gets kidnapped by the men and tied to a tree for a few days, she finds out that it was a new "law" the king put in place that the men were taking advantage of.
Trevor, her neighbour comes through and rescues her. They go and round up the rest of their surviving neighbours and create a hideout. Soon more and more people from different cities and villages come to join them after similar things happened to them. Sirie becomes a leader of these people as they build up a rebellion.
2.
The world in this story has large kingdoms and huge seas. The princess of the largest kingdom is also a sailor. She was born from the royal family, but was taken in by a ruling captain as a small child. She grew up on the seas learning how to fight and sail. When she turns 18 the ship she grew up on is handed down to her and so is her kingdom.
The princess is obviously very famous everywhere, and is known to be one of the most beautiful women in the world on top of everything else. A boy with aspirations of becoming a captain leaves his village in search of starting out is life on the seas. Once he is accepted onto the princesses boat he immediately falls for her, as almost every man who meets her does.
When war sets out between the princesses kingdom and another kingdom, the new recruit must learn to adapt to this new world he'd entered and protect the princess at all costs.
3.
A young scientist at a new secret research facility isn't sure what he can expect. He's told he will be monitoring a test subject's brain waves during experiments. He discovers that the test subject is a beautiful young woman with amazing talents.
She can read, control and communicate through people's minds. He finds himself falling for his test subject and finding out about what torture they actually put on her mind during these experiments. He helps her break out of the facility and now they're missing convicts on the run.
I'm not sure if these are really all that great or not. I want to write a good story, but am not sure which idea to use. What idea do you think sounds best?
