Why aren't men as family oriented as women, esp when it deals with in-laws? Most men don't like in-laws.?

I mean, men hate having to deal with their woman's parents or siblings. why is that? they can't even be nice out of courtesy if their in-laws are rude to them. Why?

I think that they hate dealing with them because lots of women make the mistakes of telling their whole family about their marital problems, so when the husband does meet the family, they are all looking at him like he is fcking crazy.

If your dude is just rude for no reason, his @ss is just rude.

I really think that it depend's on men's character and personallity. My husband get's along with my parents and siblings wonderfully, I also got very blessed with wonderfull in-laws. But I know friends where a wife does not get along with her husband in-laws even since before they got married. I think there is something that usually begins way from the first introduction. Unless it's somehow worked out or resolved, the not getting along could be there for a long time. It's importnat to have a family meeting and get it all out on the table and see how things can be fixed.

I hate having to deal with my partner's Mother. Luckily he only goes to see her about a once a year because he shares my opinion. I think it depends on the other half's family, some families are horrible, judgemental and interfering, others are really nice and supportive of the relationship.
