It is well known that Republicans want to get government off the back of the "people" (they mean corporations), but they want to put government inside our bedrooms and inside our underwear (government mandated ultrasounds for women seeking abortion in several states).

I see. So we are clear here: Censorship is fine when it is the left wing doing it, such as with Obama-care. But you imagine the 'Religious' right want to do something and it is a crime. Am I getting this right? If it is not imagined please provide a link showing these alleged religious right wingers want to do that. Bet you can't.

The religious right is trying to make sure that your doctor gives you no information that could make you want an abortion. For instance, only 8% of babies conceived with down syndrome are born alive, and it would look much better for our value of life, if this percentage were greater. Instead of doing something focused on the actual problem, they are just piece-milling away at a person's reasons for it.

The secular pro-life movement by contrast, just wants to end elective abortion, advocate the education of any and all contraception, yet STILL keep the discussion channel open between you and your doctor, on all other issues of prenatal care.

As for keeping guns around children, it is common sense that this is a bad idea. But if you really must be educated on it, just go to an NRA gun safety training session. They gladly will tel you what to do with your gun around children, and how to teach your children to properly use a gun.
