Why do some English people hate us?

I am definitely not being racist but simply a lil angry and curious...I was on holiday and i got on well with this boy, but once i told him i was Welsh he and his family completely blanked me! I was really p*ss*d off because what happened years ago was between our ancestors and some stupid laws. I know i sound pathetic but i've seen some horrible things online about us taffies like how we're 'sheep shaggers' and 'rugby f***ers'. What have SOME (not all people don't shout at me!) English people got against us? Why do you hate us :(. We're not all the same and if you get to know some of the fantastic people i do you'd love us!

my parents had a holiday a few years ago in wales cant remember wear exactly but when they realised he and my mum were english they started talking to each other in welsh plain ignorance as far as i am concerned dont get me wrong i am sure all the welsh arent like that just saying thats all

I think it's ridiculous that anyone would hate someone else from any country just because of what a minority of them did! It's just stupid! I mean you had nothing to do with whatever happened so they have no right to blank you! Ugh this sort of thing just annoys me so much! But at least you know they are definitely not people you want to be friends with!
