Why do supporters say THE UNITED STATES IS A COUNTRY OF IMMIGRANTS & that anybody should be allowed to enter into the country ? There is no need for a border, there is no need to station law enforcement at the border, no need for visa's, passports. everybody who wants to come here only need to wonder in ? Anybody should be allowed to vote,drive,collect benefits, so why have the open borders lobby, declared that America must be a country with no immigration laws ?

An excuse to come over here and ruin our country. An excuse not come here legally. And an excuse to get freebies.

Well, United States is a fairly young country and it was based on immigrants from Europe, and then other parts of the world. Anybody should be allowed to enter, legally. However, most supporters forget the thin line between legal and illegal immigration.

United States, just like any other country cannot allow people to just cross border openly. Who ever believes or support that idea is living in a different and distant world.

Many people say that the US is a country of immigrants, because that is a fact. I don't think many of those same people think anyone should be allowed to come in. Most reasonable think that any nation has a right to grant or deny entry for any reason. My wife and I travel to Taiwan frequently. When we used to have to get visas, the application said "The Republic of China is not required to grant a visa on request, and is not required to give reasons why the application is denied." In other words, "You aren't coming in, because we don't like your face."

this is a country of immigrants but anyone shouldn't be able to enter. if they're not finacially stable they shouldn't be able to enter into the united states.

Because they don't understand the laws and how things break down when people enter illegally.

But they are right in a way, any one is allowed here LEGALLY.
