Why is it more accepted to show horrible crimes on Law & Order, then it is to show to men holding hands?

Law & Order, CSI, Criminal Mind play out like Psychological car wrecks, yet don't get flak for it. Yet Glee does something slightly unheterosexual and they get a load of people whining & Overreacting over it? People watch Snooki Hump a plant on Jersey Shore and accept it, yet two guys making out on a Soap Opera is followed by a B.S Storm from the viewers? Explain that please, Logic doesn't come to me on this one.

The same reason we're taxed out of our @sses, and told what we can and cannot do by the stupid laws set in place by these pro-conservative anti-gay religious freaks who seem to have forgotten what the formation of this country was all about, yet at the same time are allowed to go shoot a gun because it's written in the constitution (which they ignore half of the time anyways, would our founding fathers have approved of this constant stream of religious hoopla being shoved down everyone's throats?).

Oh, but violence is in the bible so it's perfectly okay.

Oh hey it's my bff Tym, long time no see! Well first off, don't knock Law and Order, that show's the s#!t. And second, people are dumb, and take offense to things that absolutely doesn't concern them. Like being offended at the sight of a homosexual couple. There isn't a good explanation, it's illogical really.

And to the people talking about religion, there's a lot of homophobes who aren't even religious. So don't necessarily blame it on them. I'm religious and I support gay rights. Real Christians don't hate.

Same reason no one complains about all of the fornicating on T.V. and movies but then want to get all religious on someone when they see something gay in the media that isn't even dealing with sex. We live in the land of hypocrites.

Because we come from Puritanical beginnings, when sex was considered dirty and nasty but public executions and torture were entertainment.

I can't believe there as many demented, sadistic serial killers afoot in the US as Criminal Minds would have us believe.
