Will ai get disqualified from the navy? ?

Postby talbot » Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:20 pm

Okay, so I'm in A school now ..but when I was 16 I got into a fight at school and I was charged with assualt and battery. I NEVER MENTIONED THIS TO MEPS.(my recruiter told me not to. I was later arrested for defending my mom against my step-fathervwhich I was found not guilty of, and I never mentioned this either! The only thing I mentioned to meps is my speeding ticket. So what happens now?

You're already in. Never speak of this again. Your juvenile records are sealed at the age of 18. It's not an issue.

Since you've already meased up by not mentioning it, don't being it up. My advice it that you do not give them a reason to go fishing in your history. Keep on the straight and narrow.

Remember when you were in the military? Well, you'd better take pictures, because you are about to be charged with fraudulent enlistment, and you can count on getting kicked out. Your time in the military is going to be very short - all for being a liar.

Poor choice on your part.

If this is discovered during your background check for your security clearance, you may very well be discharged. Not for getting into a fight, but for lying about it!
