Will my daughters be short?

Okay so I know this is the oddest question but I am 5'6" and I have always wanted to be much shorter like 5'0" so I can wear all the awesome heels! so anyway my mother in law is 4'11 and my husband is 5'9 so Im hoping my daughters will get my mother in laws genes!

A little info on family heights -
My mother 5'7" | Dad 5'10"
Sisters both 5'6" brother 6'3" !
My husbands ...
Mother 4'11 | Dad 5'9"
Brother 5'6"

In your experience do you think my daughter will be shorter or taller then me?
Any info would help thanks =P... sorry again for the ridiculous question im just curious.

My dad is 5'4 my mom is 5'6 my sister is 4'11 my big brother is 6'2 Im 6'4. It's all random.

well, your mother in law is 4'11 it is possible.

It's hard to say. There's a wide range of heights in the two families, so it's anyone's guess, but I would be very surprised if she were only 5'.

There are two standard calculations used to estimate adult height. You can double the height at age 2 (but this calculation would have my daughter be 6' tall!); or, add mother's height plus father's height [in inches], subtract 5 [for a girl], divide by 2. The latter seems more reasonable, but there are too many actual contributing factors to be certain.

Genes don't really matter that much.

My mom's 5'7 and my dad's 5'9, but I'm 11 and already 5'9.

But if the genes matter a bit more it can be anywhere between 4'8 and 5'10.
