Will the DOJ prosecute those who allow sanctuary cities?

Postby vaiveatoish » Mon Dec 19, 2011 10:57 pm

The way I see it, sanctuary cities are equally as illegal as the states who are making their own immigration laws. Will the Department of Justice prosecute those who allow sanctuary cities?

Will the DOJ prosecute those who allow sanctuary cities?

Obama doesn't create sanctuary cities and getting rid of Obama will not eliminate sanctuary cities. It is the choice of those cities to do what they do. No president can dictate whether they are sanctuary cities or not, nor can they enforce any laws passed against such cities. Most of our social problems actually come from trying to enforce laws that are unenforceable.

Oh my, no... Not a chance - Upholding those laws would take away valuable time and resources that are desperately needed for breaking international law, putting assault weapons in the hands of drug lords, so that they can use them to kill American Law Enforcement agents.

You do want that don't you? Cause if you don't agree with Obama and Holder, you are a small minded fascist and probably a racist to boot - Now stop trying to make sense and get yourself to the nearest occupy protest!

Only if you can find a law that allows Federal prosecution of these "crimes". If the state laws aren't strong enough to prevent it, what makes you think Congress will do anything about it? You keep ignoring the reason for illegals being here - cheap labor. You wouldn't have to drive anyone out or build any fences if you could just stop American employers from hiring them.

Try that and see how far you get! LOL

No the mexican drug cartels are going to need sanctuary cities to bring in all the assault rifles that Holder and OweBama gave them.

Holder will give them a free pass to bring in all those guns to the US.

All part of the plan.

No, which is grounds for impeachment! The Constitution says the Executive branch must always try to abide by US law. Obama has publicly stated that he will not enforce some US law. He should be tried for treason!

No GOP administration has ever prosecuted, either. Sanctuary cities have been around since the 80s.
