ok so i have a linksys wireless router for my computer, and it isnt working on my laptop, just my moms (which i am on now) after i reset the router and set it up on the computer again, but on my computer whe i go to "connect to a network" the router linksys shows up, but says "the settings saved on this computer for the networkd do not match the requirements of the network" and to the right of that is a red "x", so i right clicked and went to properties and put in our password because it is secured, and it still isnt working, i dont know what to do but i really need the internet on my laptop right now, please help, and thank you!

Erase the saved profiles, and use the password on your moms computer to log in into the network.
If you can't log in, just plug an ethernet cord into your router and laptop.
